FAQ
My glazed ceramic pottery can be either hand washed or put in the dishwasher. Please visit the Ceramic Care (javascript:void(0))page for more information.
Yes, all of my handmade pieces are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food and drink safe!
All pottery is made by hand in Orinda, a small town nestled in the hills of the East Bay Area outside of San Francisco, California.
I use several clay bodies that I purchase from a local clay distributor. One is an off-white clay, one is a dark bodied clay, and one is a buff colored clay. I fire all work in my Cress electric kiln, to Cone 6, which is about 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. I make my own glazes. I’d love to meet you if you are in the San Francisco area. Please reach out and we can arrange a studio visit.
No, but I really encourage you to find a community studio in your area and take a class. It is a wonderful way to create, and the clay community is warm and welcoming.
